I had very interesting baby dreams when I was pregnant and was wondering if anyone else did as well. My wierdest one included me cutting open my belly with an exacto knife to check and see if the baby was okay. After seeing the baby was fine, I put the child back into my belly and sewed myself up. Strange.

My other wierd dream didn't have a baby in it at all, but I dreamed that my husband cheated on me and I woke up hitting and kicking him out of the bed. I was very upset that he dream cheated, but he just laughed. I did too after a while.

I remember having very strange dreams too when I was pregnant. One of which also included my husband having an affair and leaving me. I was mad at him for a couple of days because he 'dream cheated' as well!!! LOL

I think we may dream like that because of all the insecurities and worries that come with pregnancies and major life events...

I agree with you on the insecurity part. While we were still happy, our son was not a planned event and so we were very surprised when we found out I was pregnant. I remember having dreams that we had nothing to take care of a baby, but as we got more things like a crib and cloths, those dreams subsided.

I also dreamed that when we had our baby, he had a full set of toddler like teeth even though he was just a tiny thing.
