Biography of Tommy Snider
Tommy Snider is an actor, writer and producer, known mostly for his versatile acting roles in such shows as Doom Patrol as Ernest Franklin, AKA The Beard Hunter alongside Alan Tudyk, Brenden Fraser and Timothy Dalton. As Santa Claus in the hit Nickelodeon series Top Elf and also portraying Jode in the Emmy winning FX series Baskets the Clown alongside Zach Galifianakis and the late Louie Anderson.
Snider was born Thomas Joseph Snider in Tacoma Washington and was raised in Puyallup Washington until the age of 19 when he moved to Los Angeles. After booking his first audition, Tommy hosted a children's show called Friday's for Cartoon Network. During that time, Tommy interviewed Hollywood's biggest names from Robin Williams and Johnny Depp, to Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Christian Bale. He produced his own show for Cartoon Network, The Tommy Show, that he also wrote and starred in, all by the age of 22. In the last 20 years, Tommy has spent his career playing several different characters in film, television and commercials. Recently, Tommy has been crafting a series for children titled Fizzling’s Fun House.
