It is not uncommon to hear divorces and adoptions described as “finalized.” However, if you have been through either, you know that the most difficult parenting begins after the legal documents are executed. My guest this episode is Ronald Platt, co-founder of the National Association for Single and Divorced Families (NASDF). NASDF exists to support parents with vetted resources that save time and promote well-being and stability. Ron and I explore the experiences that prompted him to start NASDF and those things that we all can do to help single and divorced families. More information about Ron and NASDF is below.

Biography of Ronald Platt

Ronald Platt is the co-founder of NASDF (National Association for Single and Divorced Families), with a background spanning insurance, business development, marketing strategist, and real estate. As a foster parent, he has firsthand knowledge that enables him to craft solutions that provide stability, advocacy, and access to essential resources for those facing life transitions. His expertise in insurance product development helped him create the first-of-its-kind insurance policy that guarantees child support and alimony protection for death, disability, and involuntary unemployment, known as Support Insured. His knowledge of membership-based models and strategic partnerships has helped him position NASDF as a game-changing organization for millions of individuals navigating divorce and single-parenthood by providing them with a strong support system during this time of major change.
