Faye Bankler Casell wants your child to read, and she is doing all she can to make that happen. Faye is a Special Educator, Certified Academic Language Therapist, and Dyslexia Therapist; she has a master’s degree from the Teachers College at Columbia University; she hosts the “Teach My Child to Read” YouTube Channel; and she is the founder of HomeReadingCoach.com. As you will hear, Faye is concerned that not everyone in our kids’ lives is as committed to helping them read as she is. Biography of Faye Bankler Casell
Faye Bankler Casell, is a Special Educator, Certified Academic Language Therapist and Dyslexia Therapist who received her MA from Teachers College, Columbia University. After two decades of working as a special educator and administrator in private and public school programs, Faye is now supporting parents in the early reading development of their dyslexic children through her business, Home Reading Coach.com, her socials, and her YouTube Channel, “Teach My Child to Read.” In addition to her private dyslexia therapy practice, this March, Faye is launching "Reading Breakthrough," a dyslexia intervention program for the home environment.
As a response to a growing literacy crisis in America, with many families being denied testing or dyslexia services for their child, Faye's parent-led, therapist-coached dyslexia program is a cost-effective way for parents to support their dyslexic child without relying solely on the school.
